The timeless elegance of automotive design in 3 British icons drawn in black and white

Discover these sleek designs featuring three British legends of the 50s and 60s, where the white bodywork contrasts elegantly with the black lines:

  1. MGA (1955) - The pure roadster. With its aerodynamically flowing curves and sporty looks with high-performance engine, it embodied the free spirit of the 1950s until 1962.

  2. Mini Austin (1959) - The compact revolution. Its mischievous design, distinctive chassis and round lines conceal a mechanical ingenuity that made history, becoming an icon of the 1960s.

  3. Austin Healey 3000 (1959) - Racy strength. Muscular and sophisticated, this GT, known as the “Big Healey”, combines raw power of up to 150 hp with British elegance, and was produced until 1967.

These drawings celebrate the very identity of these models, silhouettes recognizable among a thousand, where each line reveals a unique automotive heritage. Art at the service of mechanical passion.

Note:
The choice of white for the bodies accentuates the graphic contrast, recalling period sketches while emphasizing the purity of the lines.

customer's testimonials

1971 MGB ROADSTER

I purchased a personalized copy of the 1971 MGB Roadster when I saw a Alain’s Facebook post.

He was presenting his MGB printed drawing in 3 specifications, US, UK and European specifications.

I had the request to have some fog lights to be added to the front bumper. I pay him an extra to have that done.

« Wow! », was the word I had in mouth when I received the printed drawing by mail.

The drawing work done is awesome, and Alain has been a joy to work with.

I would highly recommend him to my classic car friends!

Today, the 16X20 inch 1971 MGB Roadster printed drawing is hanging in my office.

who's the artist behind the wheel of lemireart?

Born in Drummondville, Alain drew his first sport car as a child, a love at first sight for this body line that has never left him.

After years of perfecting his line as an illustrator for Québec-Amérique, he specialized in custom automotive portraits of muscle cars, sold to enthusiasts from the very beginning on eBay.

Today, his style has been evolving steadily since 2016 to pay homage to older cars and crystallize the design of more recent sport, muscle and exotic cars with a precision that appeals to the most demanding collectors.

“I draw each curve as I've admired it for nearly 50 years, with passion and respect for design and performance.”
- Alain Lemire, automobile portraitist
