Les clubs Jaguar, Aston Martin, Jensen y était présent avec de nombreux propriétaires qui ont astiqué leur belle d’autrefois et d’aujourd’hui pour mettre de l’activité dans la zone des associations dont voici quelques photos.

The clubs Jaguar, Aston Martin, Jensen club was present with many owners who have polished their beauty of old and today to put activity in the zone of the associations of which here some photos.
JAGUAR
Ce club rassemblait surtout les modèles sportifs de la marque depuis l’arrivée sur le marché de la XK120.
Le modèle E-Type fut par contre le plus représenté dans toutes ses variantes. J’ai même vu des coupés avec un toit en toile coulissant, du style visible sur les Fiat 500 de cette époque.
À noter la présence de la voiture gagnante des 24 heures du Mans en 1955, soit une Type D. Les photos sont visible à la fin de cet album.
JAGUAR
This club brought together the sporting models of the brand since the arrival on the market of the XK120.
The E-Type model was the most represented in all its variants. I have even seen some coupes with a sliding canvas roof, a style visible on the Fiat 500 back in the days.
Note the presence of the winning car of the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1955, a Type D. The photos are visible at the end of this album.
ASTON MARTIN
Unlike Jaguar, whose majority of cars were from the classic years, among the Aston Martin owners, recent models were popular.
Some special editions were also present as the AMR and the N430. This gathering of Aston Martin reminded me of my 2 visits to the 2006 and 2008 Le Mans Classic!
JENSEN
Ce groupe de voiture, un peu plus petit que les 2 autres y était quand même en force avec des modèles pas très connu chez nous au Canada.
La particularité de ces voitures, c'est qu'en général, leur moteur sont d'origine américaine.
JENSEN
This car group, a little smaller than the other 2 was still in force with models not very known in North America.
The peculiarity of these cars is that in general, their engines are of American origin.

De nombreux revendeurs de voitures classiques étaient présents sur le site du concours d’élégance avec leurs plus belles pièces de résistance. Voici ce qu’on pouvait se mettre sous la lentille de nos appareils photo.

Many dealers of classic cars were present on the site of the contest of elegance with their most beautiful pieces of resistance. Here is what we could put under the lens of our cameras.
Et certaines grandes marques de prestige y présentaient leurs portfolios des plus récente réalisations, comme on peut le voir avec les McLaren, Aston Martin, Ferrari et Alpine.
And some major prestige brands presented their latest achievements, as can be seen with their more recent portfolios of cars such as British own McLarens, Aston Martins, Alpines and Ferraris.
Pour conclure, ce fut une très agréable journée que j'ai passé au sublime Concours d'Élégance d'Hampton Court Palace.
C'est un bel endroit pas très loin de Londres et accessible par train suivi d'une petite marche dans la charmante petite ville d'Hampton Court.
To conclude, it was a very pleasant day that I spent at the sublime Hampton Court Palace Concours d'Élégance.
It is a beautiful place not far from London and reachable by train and a bit of walk in the beautiful small town of Hampton Court.
À MON SUJET
J'ai visité mon premier concours d'élégance en 2000 au Meadowbrook
Concours qui se tenait jadis en banlieue de Détroit.
Puis j'ai ensuite enchaîné les visite au Cavallino Classic en Floride avec son superbe Concours et ses courses de voitures historique entre 2000 et 2009 en plus de voir une édition du Supercar Weekend en 2009 qui se déroulait aussi à Palm Beach.
S'en est suivi 2 visites au Mans Classic en 2006 et 2008 se déroulant sur le circuit complet des des 24 heures du Mans et une visite mémorable au Geneva Classic en 2007, qui fut mon premier
salon intérieur dédié aux voitures de grande collection.
S'en est suivi en 2015 du Greenwish Concours au Connecticut qui a pour particularité d'avoir une journée pour les voitures américaines et une autres pour les voitures étrangères.
La semaine Rétromobile de Paris fut la plus récente manifestation
automobile que j'ai eu l'occasion d'assister en février dernier!
Comme vous pouvez le constater, j'aime les grands évènements automobile d'envergure international et de prestige, ou que ce soit dans le monde!

ABOUT ME
I visited my first elegance contest in 2000 at the Meadowbrook Concours, once held in the suburbs of Detroit.
Then I chained visits to the Cavallino Classic in Florida with its sublime Concourso and on track activities between 2000 and 2009 in addition to seeing an edition of the Supercar Weekend in 2009 which was also held in Palm Beach.
Then followed two visits of the Le Mans Classic held in 2006 and 2008 to the full legendary circuit of the 24 hours of Le Mans and a memorable visit to the Geneva Classic in 2007, which was my first European indoor show dedicated to high-end collector cars.
This was followed in 2015 by the Greenwich Concours in Connecticut which has the particularity of having a day for American cars and another for foreign cars.
The Rétromobile week in Paris was the most recent car show I had the opportunity to attend last February! It took me 4 days to visit the event that includes 2 collector car auctions
As you can see, I like prestigious collector car events with an international flavor, whatever they are in the world!
