THE SWAN SONG OF AN UNFORGETTABLE GENERATION
In 2013, Ford finds itself at a crossroads. The Mustang S197, launched in 2005, was beginning to show its limitations in the face of the new Camaro SS (relaunched in 2010) and increasingly stringent safety standards.
But rather than revolutionize everything, the Dearborn engineers opted for a bold mid-cycle restyling, a final tribute after 12 years under the reign of classic DNA before the leap into modernity of the S550. Only 82,995 units produced in 2013-2014 (vs 144k in 2005), making these models sought-after today.
THE CONTEXT: A BATTLE OF THE MUSCLE CARS
- 2011: The Camaro SS dominates sales with its 426 hp LS3 V8 and retro-futuristic styling.
- Chevrolet prepares an update for 2013.
- Ford has to act fast: the all-new S550 won't be ready until 2015.
THE KEY INNOVATIONS OF THE 2013 RESTYLING
1 A Meaner Face:
◦ LED headlights (optional) and “tri-bar” taillights inspired by 1967-1968 models.
◦ Wider grille with 11% larger lower air intake to better cool the Coyote V8.
2 Air Sculpting Lines:
◦ Curved hood with false vents (a tribute to the Boss 302) for a more muscular silhouette.
◦ Redesigned mirrors reduce turbulence by 7% according to wind tunnel tests.
3 A modernized interior:
◦ Reorganized dashboard with color LCD screen (for climate control and audio).
◦ Optional Recaro seats - a first for a “base” GT.
The 2013 Mustang GT made its world debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show.

• The personalized edition printed drawings are signed and numbered 1/1, because it's the only one to have your car informations written on your print
• The 16X20 inches became since March 2023, a limited edition of 5 copies run, regardless of the body colors.
WHAT'S HAPPENING AFTER THE PURCHASE
• When your order is done, I do the work and send sample images to get your approval.
• Once the approval is done, I print the image in a fine art print shop.
• The shipping is done using US Post with regular delay with tracking number.

An idea of some personnalized options
It is possible to customize the drawing by changing the wheels and the color of the seats as seen in the black Mustang GT drawing.
For the green Mustang GT, the front grille has had its lights removed and the rear spoiler is the one of the BOSS 302 Laguna Seca.
For the white Mustang GT, it's a very personalized order printed in 16X24 inches from a customer who made the following
requests:
- Coloring the hood grills in black
- The addition of Toyo tire lettering
- Changing the wheels for a Saleen model
- Redraw of a very detailed drawing of the front grill in honeycomb
- Added Ford stickers on the front fender and Ford Performance on the hood
- Redraw the car in a larger linear drawing for a better effect when printed in 16X24 inches
- Added a honeycomb pattern in the background based on the front grill for a more graphic look
