Born in Drummondville, Canada, Alain Lemire had a passion for cars very early in his life being one of his favorite subjects of
drawing during his high school years.
CHILDHOOD MEMORY
“I remember seeing my first Corvette C3 asking what the car was, and my dad answering, it’s a Corvette!” I liked the body shapes of this beautiful blue C3 Corvette!
THE BEGINNINGS OF LEMIREART
It was during his years as a salaried illustrator at Québec-Amérique, a visual dictionary publisher, that Alain Lemire developed in parallel with his work, an automotive portraitist activity
aimed at owners of American muscle and sports cars. The sale was done through eBay.

With the closure of his position as an in-house illustrator, Alain Lemire began a shift in visual style in 2016 and has been evolving ever since, seeking an increasingly demanding clientele in
the representation of their muscle and sports car.
